Another massive number of invitations was sent by Department of Home Affairs for subclass 189 and subclass 491 FS in the 2nd round of the year happened on 06 Oct 2022.
Nearly all invitations were sent to offshore candidates. There were only a few occupations receiving invitations whose candidates are onshore including Nurse, Social Work, Early Chilhood Teacher, University Lecturer.
The biggest winner is the group of Engineer from offshore where all are invited at minimum 65 points and date of effect in Oct 2022. That means everyone who meets minimum requirement were received an invitation for subclass 189 (or 491 FS).
Is it fair for Engineers graduated in Australia who paid 100,000 AUD fee for a 4-year course, not to mention many of them have been working very hard to secure an employment during this hard time? Your comment?
